Monstera Albo Variegated #2
The Monstera Albo variegated is a rare variety of the Monstera Deliciosa. It's beautiful variegation makes every leaf an exciting surprise.
Due to the light variegation the Monstera albo requires birght, indirect light. Exposing it to direct light can cause sunburn to the leaves. Too little light can cause the variegation to revert.
Monsteras like their top 5 centimeters (or 25%) of soil to dry out before watering it again. They like their soil to stay moist, but sitting in soaked soil too long can cause root rot. We prefer to use clear container pots so we can monitor the soil en roots.
The Monstera Albo variegated will thrive in a roomhumidity between 60-80% and a consistent roomtemperture between 18°C and 29°C.
During the growing season (spring and summer) the plant would appreciate to be fed with a (liquid) fertilizer every 2-4 weeks. During the winter dormancy period the plant does not need to be fertilized (or it should be heavily diluted).
As it is a natural climber, giving it a plantstick or mosspole will help stimulate bigger leaves.
