The Epipremnum aureum is a very easy, fast-growing and hardy plant. It's variegation makes every leaf a surprise.

The Epipremnum aureum is a very forgiving plant. It likes bright, indirect light. Exposing it to direct light can cause sunburn to the leaves. Too little light can cause the lighter variegation to revert.

Epipremnums like their soil to stay moist during the growing season (spring and summer), but sitting in soaked soil too long can cause root rot. They like their top 2-3 centimeters (or 20-25%) soil to dry out before watering it again during the winter and fall. We prefer to use clear container pots so we can monitor the soil en roots.

The Epipremnum aureum neon variegated will do just fine in regular (lower) roomhumidity, but will thrive in a roomhumidity between 50-60% and a consistent roomtemperture between 18°C and 27°C.

During the growing season (spring and summer) the plant would appreciate to be fed with a (liquid) fertilizer every 2-4 weeks. During the winter dormancy period the plant does not need to be fertilized (or it should be heavily diluted).

As we are working with living plants we do not want them to get stuck in the mail for too long. With the delivery time in mind we choose to dispatch orders within the Netherlands from Monday to Thursday, orders to Belgium will be dispatched from Monday to Wednesday and orders to Germany and France will be dispatched on Monday only. This way we can make sure the plants will get to you in the best condition possible.

We use recyclable packaging (cardboard) and materials made from recycled materials (cushion filling from recycled PET-bottles). We like to use as minimal packaging materials as possible to help reduce waste.

Here at Leafy Family we like to give our customers the opportunity to choose the plant they like as we all have different preferences about the looks of our plants. That's why we list every single plant individually. Doing this it also requires us to take pictures of all individual plants. As plants are living, natural products they can grow or have some other kind of change during the time it is listed on our website. Therefore it can occur that the plant you see in the picture will arrive slightly different. If the plant has significant growth or changes we will update the pictures in the listing.
