New leaves come in creamy-white (hence the name ghost) and will mature into dark green leaves.

The Philodendron Florida Ghost requires birght, indirect light. Exposing it to direct light can cause sunburn to the leaves. Too little light can cause the variegation to revert.

Philodendrons like their top 3-5 centimeters (or 25-30%) of soil to dry out before watering it again. They like their soil to stay moist, but sitting in soaked soil too long can cause root rot. We prefer to use clear container pots so we can monitor the soil en roots.

The Philodendron Florida Ghost will thrive in a roomhumidity between 60-70% and a consistent roomtemperture between 18°C and 35°C.

During the growing season (spring and summer) the plant would appreciate to be fed with a (liquid) fertilizer every 2-4 weeks. During the winter dormancy period the plant does not need to be fertilized (or it should be heavily diluted).

As it is a natural climber, giving it a plantstick or mosspole will help stimulate bigger leaves.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1001/7010/5158/files/rn-image_picker_lib_temp_2bfe4d3c-79f9-4faa-bb66-550c5f104596.jpg?v=1784819104
